Petr Štěpnička

ps_photoPetr Štěpnička received his Ph.D. from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1998.After a one-year postdoctoral stay at Catalysis Research Center, Hokkaido University (Japan) with Tamotsu Takahashi in 1999, he returned to his Alma Mater, where he became an Associate Professor in 2005 andFull Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in 2012. He has published over 200 papers, focused predominantly on the preparation, coordination properties and catalytic applications of functional phosphinoferrocene ligands, and won several awards including Prix de Chimie, Rudolf Lukes Prize and Alfred Bader Award for Organic Chemistry.
